Summer is my favorite season! I love the heat, the laid-back pace, and, of course, summer travel. I love packing for my summer trips more than others because you can really lean into the destination and opt for outfits that are brighter and fun than what you may typically wear at home. Plus, most summer clothes are lightweight, allowing you to fit them into your luggage easily. So, today, I want to share some summer outfit inspiration with you!

Gingham is on trend this summer, and this dress has such a cute shape. It’s available in other colors, including a nice blue! This would be great for a beach trip or even a brunch out with friends. I also think that this dress will transition nicely into Fall with a cute sweater. Pair it with neutral white and straw accessories to complete the look.

Shell Yes To The Dress

I love this look for a beach trip! This Prettygarden Shell Dress also comes in navy blue, which I will share later in the post, and is just so fun. I can picture this in West Palm Beach or on your Caribbean beach vacation. A theme you will see throughout this post is neutral accessories with hints of gold. Again, gingham is having a moment this summer! I don’t know if I prefer blue or red, but this dress is so cute for a summer brunch, trip to the beach, or girls’ trip to 30A . You can really make it your own with accessories, opting for a more Americana look or adding gold accents to make it more dressy.

I love this outfit! It’s one of those where you can just buy all four pieces and be good to go. For a more casual daytime beach trip look, I prefer the chunkier platform straw sandals that I show here versus the strappy heels on the model. And these earrings are a perfect match!

The Perfect 2-Piece Summer Outfit

I wore this striped 2-piece outfit earlier this month on our trip to the South of France, and it was so comfortable! You can see a photo of me in it here . I loved it so much that I grabbed another color. It’s perfect with a pair of slides. I would normally pair it with my cream or gold Birkenstocks, but we packed light on this trip so I only had my black pair.

Easy Breazy Pink Dress

I actually grabbed this casual vacation dress for my 16-year-old, and it is super cute on her! It’s a great vacation dress to throw on for dinner after a long day in the sun. This dress comes in 13 different colors and is lightweight and easy to pack. Also, I like its versatility. Add heels and cute earrings for a dressier look, or pair it with flip-flops and a mesh tote bag for a casual daytime look.

Elevated Summer Look For Events

This is another cute summer dress that I bought and wore on our recent trip to Europe . I have the blue version with the white detail, which is the opposite of this one. And, I recommend sizing down, because I am usually a size large, and it’s a little big on me. I love the ruffle detail on the sleeves! These sandals also come in a variety of colors and are a great basic summer sandal to pair with most of your dresses.
