West Ridge Students Dive into Virtual Careers at Engaging Interactive Workshop

Pupils from West Ridge High School had the opportunity to explore various careers like truck driving, welding, and operating heavy machinery through virtual means.
The school administrators collaborated with the Tennessee Valley Authority to invite the Be Pro Be Proud Tennessee mobile exhibit and organize an engaging workshop for the students to participate in.
Participants told News 5 that events like these provide them with insights into career options they may not have been aware of, which are attainable for them in the future.
I believe that students typically learn from textbooks, but this approach helps them explore alternative possibilities. It opens people's eyes to different opportunities available out there, remarked Senior at West Ridge Bailey Quillen.
