Sam's Club's Sizzling New Hit Sends Shoppers Scrambling: "Incredible, I'll Grab a Dozen!"

I’m not ashamed to say that when I take a trip to the grocery store, it’s never a quick trip. It doesn’t matter if I needed one item or an entire haul, I have to go down every aisle—sometimes twice. What if I leave and forget to grab that box of cookies I didn’t remember I needed until I saw them at the store today? Or what if they have a BOGO on Oatly or those Death Wish Ready-to-Drink Canned Lattes I love so much? I refuse to deny myself the pleasure of leisurely perusing the store and filling my cart for hours on end—it’s my happy place. Of course, more than any other section of the grocery store, my favorite and most inspired area to saunter around is none other than the deli and produce section.

I love glancing at the jam-packed meat and cheese case to see what people are buying and how many pounds of cajun turkey they're asking for. Are they stocking up on sandwich ingredients for the week or hosting a dinner party, and how do I get invited? Meticulously organized fruits and veggies, begging to be picked and brought home, and turned into a salad. It’s truly a delight for the senses. After I’ve had my fill of oogling over the heirloom tomatoes and grapes, though, my last and final stop is always the prepared fruit case.

It’s miraculous how some grocers can pick the juiciest, most flavorful fruits and package them into ready-to-go containers perfect for snacking on the way home. You’d think they’re trained for it or something. But beyond just stuffing fruit into a container, some take it a step further and toss in a few packets of spicy chile lime seasoning to really get the party started. The latest retailer to jump on the train is Sam’s Club , and @samsclubmembers is sharing all the deets.
As if I needed more of a reason to spend all day at the grocery store, Sam’s Club just dropped a delicious-looking Tropical Fruit Tray with Tajin, and it’s safe to say I’ll be grabbing several and returning at least twice a day. This sizable fruit tray includes fresh sliced watermelon, mango, pineapple, oranges, honeydew, jicama, and limes, all served up with packs of spicy Tajin. The trays retail for $5.14 a pound, which equates to about $16 for a three-pound tray.
Although it’s meant to be shared, I could put two of these down with no problem, and judging by the comments, so can everyone else. “Fantastic, I'll take 14,” said one person. “YUM 😍” said someone else. See, it pays to spend all day at the grocery store. Well, figuratively speaking at least. Totally open to being paid to shop, by the way.
