Lowell Man Charged with Knife, Kidnapping, and Domestic Violence: Latest Superior Court Indictments Revealed
NASHUA, NH — A grand jury in Hillsborough County recently indicted the people listed below.
Remi Barrera , 37, of Millwright Drive in Nashua, on possession of a controlled drug -fentanyl with intent to distribute-subsequent offense and three sale of a controlled drug -crack cocaine-subsequent offense charges, all felonies . He was accused of selling or distributing the drugs on Jan. 13, Jan. 16, Jan. 30, in Nashua. Barrera was previously convicted on a drug sale charge in Hills South in August 2010.
Leon Campbell, 41, of Perry Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited- methamphetamine charge on Aug. 27, 2024, in Nashua.
Sarah M. Coburn, 38, of Bridge Street in Nashua , on nine felony theft by unauthorized taking charges . She was accused of stealing from the Family Dollar store in Nashua on May 9, 2024. Coburn was also accused of stealing items from seven vehicles in Nashua on April 24 , May 14, May 15, June 7, June 29, 2024. She also stole items from another person’s yard on May 6, 2024, in Nashua , according to an indictment . Coburn was previously convicted on theft charges in Rockingham County Superior Court in May 2018 and Hills North in April 2019 .

Samuel E. Colon, 26, of Tammy Court in Hudson, on taking a firearm from a law enforcement officer -attempt and two second-degree assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of trying to take a police officer’s firearm, punching the officer in the face causing a left orbital bone facial fracture, and fracturing the officer’s hand as they were trying to protect themselves from the assault in Nashua on Jan. 1.
Elvin Cruz , 34, of Massmills Drive in Lowell, Massachusetts, on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon-knife, kidnapping, and domestic violence charges, all felonies. He was accused of threatening an intimate partner with a knife on Dec. 3, 2024, in Nashua, saying, “Get the f--- in the car, I don’t give a f---, we’re leaving,” or words to that effect. Cruz was also accused of threatening to kill the woman when they arrived in Lawrence, MA.

Jonathan Cruz, 39, of Manchester , on three felony receiving stolen property charges . He was accused of retaining more than $1,500 in merchandise from Coach, Ugg, Under Armour, American Eagle, Sunglass Hut, Zumiez, Banana Republic, Adidas, and Claire's in Merrimack on Dec. 30 , 2024. Twice before, according to the indictments , Cruz has been convicted of theft , willful concealment , and receiving stolen property charges .

Sarah Lynn Cupan , 36, of Gaffney Street in Nashua, on a felony domestic violence charge. She was accused of threatening a woman with a baseball bat in Nashua on Jan. 10.
Brandon Dickey, 41, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on forgery and theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He was accused of drawing $3,915.20 on a forged check on the St. Mary’s Bank account of Longchamps Electric LLC in Hudson on Dec. 6, 2023.
Ryan D. Duval, 37, of Brook Drive in Hudson, on forgery, theft by deception , and theft by unauthorized taking charges , all felonies. He was accused of failing to scan items at the self-checkout at Lowe’s in Nashua between April 24 , and May 2, 2024. Duval was accused of providing a fraudulent check for $25,000 as a deposit on a pickup truck from Best Ford in Nashua on Oct. 19 , 2024.
Joshua Leo Ellis, 31, of Proctor Road in Wilton, on three possession of child sexual abuse images charges and seven distribution of child sexual abuse images charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing jpgs on Aug. 17, and Dec. 8, 2024, and distributing mp4s and jpgs on Aug. 28, Aug. 30, Sept. 2, Sept. 9, and Dec. 19, 2024, in Wilton.
