Live Updates: USA Softball All-Star Showdown — Team USA vs. All-Stars

USA Softball is hosting its inaugural All-Star Showcase with Team USA facing college and professional stars in a doubleheader set for 3:30 p.m. Friday at Devon Park.

The teams were set to play Thursday night before getting rained out .

Team USA is coached by OU's Patty Gasso , who is leading the Eagles in the 2028 Olympic cycle.

Texas Tech's NiJaree Canady and former OU star Jayda Coleman are among the players who will be in action.

End of fifth inning: All-Stars 6, Team USA 4 | Skylar Wallace closes the gap

Down four runs and with bases loaded, Skylar Wallace got two RBIs to narrow the gap to two runs.

End of fourth inning: All-Stars 6, Team USA 2 | Rachel Garcia allows no hits

After a five-run third inning, Team USA pitcher Rachel Garcia kept the All-Stars hitless.

End of third inning: All-Stars 6, Team USA 2 | Aubrey Leach hits a grand-slam

Bri Ellis tripled in the bottom of the third, and scored through a Kayla Kowalik RBI to tie the game at 2-2. With no outs on the board, bases were loaded for the Stars.

Aubrey Leach was next at bat, and swung hard for a successful grand-slam.

End of second inning: Team USA 2, All-Stars 1 | Cori McMillan homers for the Stars

Hannah Flippen added Team USA's second run of the game in the top of the inning.

In the bottom, Cori McMillan took the chance to narrow the gap to one run with a solo homer to make it 2-1.

End of first inning: Team USA 1, All-Stars 0 | Jayda Coleman gets early run

After her two-run homer in the first game, Jayda Coleman scored the first run of Game 2. Kinzie Hansen and Skylar Wallace attempted to advance, but got caught in a double play to end the top of the first.

GAME 1 FINAL: Team USA 5, All-Stars 4 | Stars make it close

Aubrey Leach became the third player in the game to score a two-run homer, and decreased the three run gap to just one in the top of the seventh. The Stars needed to tie to send the game to the bottom of the inning, but were unable to keep going.

The second game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

End of sixth inning: Team USA 5, All-Stars 2 | Coleman homers, USA takes lead

Jayda Coleman hit a two-run homer to right field, and Team USA took the lead for the first time in the game with just one inning to go. Coleman is the second OU alumna to hit a home run today, following Alo's in the fourth for the Stars.

With the bases loaded, Kinzie Hansen batted Dejah Mulipola and Hannah Flippen in, extending the lead. Tennessee's Karlyn Pickens entered the circle for the Stars.

End of fifth inning: All-Stars 2, Team USA 1 | USA leaves runner on third

UCLA's Ally Catra replaced Megan Faraimo in the circle for Team USA, and kept the Stars scoreless. In the bottom, Janae Jefferson was left on third base, Amanda Lorenz on first.

End of fourth inning: All-Stars 2, Team USA 1 | Jocelyn Alo homers

OU alumna Jocelyn Alo broke the tie after four innings with a two-run home run to left field.

Arkansas' Robyn Herron replaced Kennedy in the circle for the All-Stars. Team USA bases were loaded, and Skylar Wallace added a run to the scoreboard.

End of third inning: All-Stars 0, Team USA 0 | No runs allowed in three

Pitchers Faraimo and Emiley Kennedy kept the game scoreless after three. Faraimo had her second hitless inning of the game.

End of second inning: All-Stars 0, Team USA 0 | Double play keeps game scoreless

OU alumna Jayda Coleman nearly hit the second base umpire, but got a single for Team USA. The All-Stars wrapped up the inning scoreless with a double play off Sahvanna Jaquish's ball in the next at-bat.

End of first inning: All-Stars 0, Team USA 0 | Faraimo allows no hits

The All-Stars were held to no hits in the first inning with Team USA and UCLA star Megan Faraimo in the circle. Erin Coffel was left on base after walking.

Team USA left Amanda Lorenz and Tiare Jennings on base.
