Reggie Williams, who sells at the flea market, has amassed collectibles for over five decades. "Let’s just say more than 50 years; the details can remain with you," he stated.
Jeff Bower, another seller, highlighted the sentimental draw of the products available. He mentioned, "'Everybody enjoys coming here to take a look around; they exclaim, ‘Oh, I recall when that was around,’ or ‘I had one of those.’’ Recently, a man came in and fetched his spouse, bringing her over saying, ‘Look at these—the very same things I told you about from my past,"' he recounted.
Harry and Charlotte Chernaskey recommended to visitors, saying, “Arrive early, secure parking, purchase what you need, and leave promptly. You can find some amazing bargains here. An item priced at $40 in the store might cost only $20, $10, or even just $5 here, making it an excellent place for getting good deals!”
The yard sale at Hyland Heights continues until tomorrow, whereas most other sellers along Route 29 will stay open till Sunday. Given the wide array of goods available and extensive area to explore, visitors are advised to come early for the best bargains.
The sellers start their day around 7 AM and continue operations until things slow down around 3 PM!
