Swindon's Vibrant Paint Fest Set to Return This Summer!

A festival that introduces fresh murals to Swindon is making a comeback this summer.

The Paint Fest, organised by Artsite and The Post Modern, is scheduled to make its comeback for its fourth annual event on Saturday, August 30.

This yearly gathering will showcase fresh murals, live painting sessions, exhibitions, and additional attractions.

Various murals in the downtown area were produced during earlier Paint Fest events.

Councillor Marina Strinkovsky, the cabinet member for placemaking and planning at Swindon Borough Council, expressed her delight stating, "Paint Fest is coming back for yet another year, and I am pleased to say that the council remains fully supportive of this event as we have been."

Swindon merits being a stunning and lively location, and when local and global artists produce these amazing murals, it enhances everybody's everyday life and ideally instils a greater sense of pride in Swindon.

"It’s really putting us on the international street art map.

"There are already dozens of amazing pieces on display around town, and a walking tour of the key pieces is a great way to spend a sunny hour; it’s like a free art gallery the size of a town.

"It’s impossible to choose a favourite, but I particularly enjoy driving past Curtis Hylton’s gorgeous floral mural on Stanley Street."
