“My family situation has now developed into a condition that requires 100% of my emotion and energy. As of this evening, I must resign my elected position here on the town council. It is with disappointment that I’m not completing the remaining two years in my four-year term. The number of citizens have spoken at this podium on town matters, I would hope that this same focused and talented residents will continue with that enthusiasm and come forward to assist all of our citizens by putting their hand up and running for town council. Utilizing their skills to address the complex issues impacting our residents.”
