The free festival hosted by the University of Central Lancashire attracted approximately 10,000 attendees who participated in an extensive range of interactive activities and demonstrations over two subject-specific days for schools and one public day. This event showcased how engaging with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics can be both enjoyable and applicable to everyday life.

The returning exhibitions like "This is Amazing Chemistry," the Bubble Science Show, and the Teddy Bear's Clinic were major successes once more.

On a public open day, visitors strolling towards the University’s Student Centre might have come across massive dinosaurs named Tyrone, Terry, and Donna wandering through University Square, bellowing at both children and adults alike.

Dr Liz Granger, the director of the Lancashire Science Festival, stated: "The 11th edition of our festival was remarkably successful, attracting thousands of participants ranging from children to adults who took part in an extensive array of STEM-related events, workshops, and performances over the course of three days."

We've put in considerable effort to make sure the festival appeals to kids across all age groups, and both teachers and parents have provided very positive feedback. It delights us to see that numerous individuals have found inspiration through our acclaimed event.
