Rainy Weather Set to Drench Philly Starting Wednesday — Check the Forecast Now!
Prepare yourself for an extension of moderately damp conditions expected to start in the Philadelphia region from Wednesday onwards , with rain chances through the end of the week.
We are expecting a light to moderate rain through the morning commute and precipitation all day long. The rain will likely get heaviest in time for the evening commute, so expect slower driving most of the day.

There shouldn't be any flooding or extreme conditions because of this rainfall.
Temperatures will fall to around 65 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday before recovering to the high 70s by Thursday and Friday, accompanied by a possibility of intermittent showers throughout Saturday.
We're monitoring low chances (about 20%) that the increasing humidity through the week could produce the occasional thunderstorm Friday.
At this point, it looks to dry out and warm up by the second half of the weekend, with temps in the mid-80s possible by Monday of next week.
Returning to the rainfall: There is positive news amidst all of this. After over eight months, the Philadelphia region has finally escaped from every drought situation. This does not include the approximately one-inch precipitation we received last Wednesday and Thursday. Therefore, once the weekly drought monitor comes out on Thursday, our circumstances should appear even more favorable.
