Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck by Car in Downtown Austin

A person walking was critically injured after allegedly getting hit by a car in downtown Austin on Monday evening.

Austin-Travis County EMS was called to the scene of an auto-pedestrian crash at approximately 9:24 p.m., located at 900 West Cesar Chavez Street.

ADDITIIONALLY | Teens aged 12 and 13 were taken into custody in relation to the murder in Southeast Austin.

The pedestrian was quickly taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with severe, potentially fatal injuries.
