Old Fishing and Outdoor Gear Needed: American Littoral Society Seeks Donations for Conservation Efforts

HIGHLANDS, NJ — Monmouth County residents: Do you have gently used outdoor gear gathering dust at home?
The American Littoral Society, based at Sandy Hook’s Officer Row, is presently gathering used and discarded outdoor equipment as part of their efforts to keep offering educational activities for kids and teenagers focused on nature and the great outdoors.
This Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., they will accept outdoor equipment donations at their location in Sandy Hook. The drop-off address is 18 Hartshorne Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732.

Their Education and Fish Tagging departments will utilize the donated equipment.
