Now Open: Submit for the New Mills Art Trail in the UK!

The Art Trail forms a key component of the New Mills Festival, turning the entire town into one big art gallery featuring more than 80 artists across 50 plus locations. Applying is completely free regardless of whether you're a local artist or coming from farther away—everyone is invited! However, once your application is accepted, there’s a fee of £20 required for participation in the Art Trail.

Joanna Allen, who coordinates the Art Trail, looks forward to bringing this thrilling event back to The New Mills Festival again. She invites artists from every stage of their careers and those using various mediums to submit their applications. 'This curated trail will guide visitors through New Mills, exhibiting an extensive array of top-notch artworks. Every year brings new surprises, and we can’t wait to discover what treasures this edition has in store.'

New Mills has recently been ranked as the fourth-best location in the nation for living, and now the town transforms into an expansive 'gallery' during the Art Trail. This gathering brings together various artists and creators showcasing their skills in mediums such as painting, printmaking, ceramics, three-dimensional art, and textiles. Over fifty local enterprises are participating by exhibiting artworks across numerous distinct settings.

To submit your application, kindly use the link provided on the events page of the New Mills Festival 2025 website. The submission must be completed by midnight on Sunday, June 15th.
