Kid Rock's Nashville restaurant workers asked to go home to avoid rumored Ice raids

Kid Rock's restaurant in Nashville instructed employees to return home to dodge alleged immigration crackdowns, as reported.

The eatery is among several in Nashville owned by conservative restaurateur and Donald Trump Supporter Steve Smith claims he witnessed undocumented kitchen employees being instructed to stay away from work over the weekend to evade potential immigration crackdowns.

The popular eatery is formally known as Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse and operates under license. musician Kid Rock.

Reports indicate that the restaurant had difficulty handling the crowd on Saturday evening following a concert because staff members who lacked proper documentation were dismissed, according to The Nashville Scene.

A staff member who wished to remain unnamed informed the source: "On Saturday around 9:30 PM, our manager returned and instructed those lacking legal status to head home."

The events at the Ryman, Ascend, and even the Savannah Bananas' baseball game concluded, making everything extremely hectic. However, nobody was available in the kitchen to prepare the meals.

Kid Rock and Steve Smith both have reputations as strong conservatives who supported President Trump and contributed financially to his campaigns.

However, the reported incident suggests that the eateries run by Smith - including The Diner and Honky Tonk Central - are using and relying on the very same undocumented labor President Trump has vowed to remove from the US.
