In a recent press release , The Women and Infants Center at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital In Green Bay, it was reported that 14 nurses on their staff are currently pregnant.

The healthcare facility released this information shortly before Mother’s Day and during National Nurses Week, observed from May 6 through May 12.

"This marks a significant full-circle moment for numerous nurses at our center; some will soon be becoming new mothers themselves," stated Amy Bardon, who leads the center, in the press release.

"Every one of these women was already baby experts In their own right," she went on to say, noting that for others, their understanding was "poised to expand even further.

"I'm thrilled for all our nurses as they begin this new chapter, and I wish them a particularly memorable Nurses Week and Mother’s Day," she stated.

Bardon pointed out that the expectant mothers, who are all registered nurses as well as healthcare "educators" and "advocates," have been getting their prenatal care and check-ups from acquaintances and peers at St. Vincent Hospital.

"When our expectant nurses are prepared to bring their babies into the world, they will receive care from their friends and coworkers here at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, and this brings them great comfort," she stated.
