GALLERY: Penfield Symphony Orchestra wraps up 69th season

Penfield, N.Y. - The evening in Penfield featured an exquisite performance of classical music.

The Penfield Symphony Orchestra they presented "From Beethoven to Mahler" on Monday, which was their fourth and last performance of their 69th season.

The symphony orchestra, comprising 90 musicians, was additionally accompanied by a Pittsford Sutherland student named Ryan Shaffer on the violin.

The orchestra was initially part of the Penfield Central School District Before it decided to vote for restructuring into an autonomous nonprofit organization in 1982.
