The fire was spotted close to Scott Road, situated below White Rock Road, at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Alert California surveillance cameras captured images of a minor vegetation fire accompanied by a smoke plume in the vicinity.

Radio communications from the Sacramento County fire dispatch suggest that the teams are still at the location, engaged in cleanup activities.
