Fatal Shooting in Fort Washington: Two Dead as Investigation Begins
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now — The Prince George's County police stated that two individuals have died following a shooting incident in Fort Washington on Tuesday evening.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on May 27, police received a call about a shooting at the 5200 block of Haras Place. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals who had been shot.
Authorities stated that one of the victims passed away at the location. The second individual was transported to the medical facility, where they succumbed to their injuries soon afterward.
Investigators are striving to ascertain what precipitated the shooting and identify a potential motive.
As of early Wednesday morning, the identities and ages of the victims had not been made public.
