“Disappointed that I haven’t progressed, that I’m still in the hospital, and mainly that there are still 58 hostages in Gaza ," she shared on social media.

"Three months since the initial operation. Moving forward to the next procedure. Interactions with servicemen and -women as well as civilians who have been injured both physically and psychologically. We all support and uplift each other," she mentioned additionally.

How do I bounce back when I'm here and they're over there?

Romi discussed the emotional challenges she faces, aware that some hostages are still captive. "The journey ahead is lengthy, and at times my energy wanes. It brings about frustration, psychological turmoil, and letdowns. How do I recuperate when I am here and they are over there?"

I get treated with care while some people plead just for one pill of acetaminophen. I have the luxury to choose any meal I desire as they struggle daily over a piece of pita bread. Feelings of guilt and worry linger with me. It’s crucial that they come back—for their sake, for their loved ones, and for all of us.

She proceeded to describe her recovery after captivity.

It moves slowly, causing much pain and deep sadness. From the exterior, it might seem like everything is alright with us, yet nobody truly grasps our internal struggles. The truth is, we are far from being okay. Healing requires considerable time, and with divine favor, we shall overcome this together as resilient individuals—extraordinarily strong.

She concluded her message with, "Please refrain from making assumptions or judging. Love us without conditions. Embrace us. Stand by us. A year from now, I hope to be able to say, praise God, the hostages and troops are back safe, my hand has healed properly, and this physical ordeal is over. Fingers crossed."
