Castle Air Museum Set to Reveal F-4 Phantom on Saturday’s Open Cockpit Day

The Castle Air Museum will be hosting its yearly Spring Open Cockpit Day this coming Saturday.
The aviation museum will reveal the highly anticipated F-4 Phantom, "The Black Bunny."
The Mach II supersonic fighter plane will make its first public appearance in almost 40 years.
Guests are invited to come with their cameras and big appetites to this exclusive event, where they can also enjoy helicopter tours for an unparalleled bird’s-eye perspective.
The event will feature several demonstrations by law enforcement agencies, an array of dining choices, and entry to more than 30 antique airplanes housed within the museum. These range from WWII-era planes all the way up to contemporary craft like the F-16 fighter jet and the formidable B-52 bomber.
Participants can likewise use a shuttle, which is part of their entry fee, to visit the Restoration Hangar to see the exhibits. Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth airplane , a war veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm.
The Castle Air Museum is situated at 5050 Santa Fe Drive in Atwater. The gates will open at 9 a.m.
