Speed Camera Spots Across West Yorkshire: Stay Alert This Week!

Throughout West Yorkshire’s thoroughfares, mobile speed cameras have come into effect this week.

These cameras are put in place by the West Yorkshire Police Camera Enforcement Unit on the behalf of the West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership. They are in place across core camera sites and community concern sites.

A key camera location is an area where there is a frequent occurrence of incidents and injuries. Police have concluded that using mobile speed cameras is the most effective approach to address this problem at such locations.

In the meantime, a platform for communal concerns fails to fulfill these requirements. Rather, locals have pointed out this region as one where mobile speed cameras could potentially be beneficial.

The cameras function by projecting a laser onto moving vehicles to ascertain their velocities. This method operates effectively under various lighting and weather circumstances.
