Southern Hills Hospital Stuns With Robotics at Las Vegas Tech Fest

Southern Hills Hospital, a leading healthcare facility in the Las Vegas region, organized an interesting event. robotics event As part of the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival on Sunday.
The gathering attracted around 400 participants, encompassing kids, adults, and tech aficionados, who spent an entire day engaging in educational experiences and various activities.
Participants got to experience cutting-edge robotic technology up close. The facility displayed various high-tech robots like the DaVinci Robot, Stryker Mako Robot, and Mazor Robot. Youngsters and grown-ups alike were fascinated by what these pioneering devices could do, thereby enhancing their knowledge about robotics and recognizing its influence not only in medicine but also elsewhere.
Along with the robotics display, Southern Hills Hospital also hosted a Teddy Bear Clinic.
The clinic enabled kids to acquire crucial caregiving abilities by looking after their stuffed teddy bears.
The interactive setting offered children an opportunity to connect with health caregivers and grasp the significance of kindness and understanding in treating patients.
The event received support from various community collaborators such as volunteer participants from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog, LVMPD’s Summerlin Area Command, Community Ambulance, AMR/Medic West, Clark County Fire Department, and the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Bomb Unit.
These partners provided their vehicles and knowledge to the children, enriching the learning process.
