Russia-Ukraine War: Latest Frontline Update for April 30
Starting from April 30, there have been a total of 177 skirmishes along the frontline. The Russian military keeps intensifying their attacks towards Pokrovsk, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.
The General Staff reports that 177 battles have occurred today. In these operations, Russian troops conducted 91 air strikes using 179 precision-guided aerial munitions.
Furthermore, the adversary has employed 3,186 suicide drones and conducted approximately 6,000 assaults aimed at both Ukrainian military locations and civilian areas.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces have halted two enemy assaults near the town of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops launched six attacks on Ukrainian defensive positions toward Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Novoosynove, and Zahryzove. Five of those assaults were successfully repelled, while one engagement is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces carried out 35 assaults over the course of the day near Novoserhiivka, Nadiya, Tverdokhlibove, Ridkodub, Nove, Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, and in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Hrekivka. Ten clashes are still underway.
In the Siversk direction , the enemy continues to storm Ukrainian positions near Verkhniokamianske. Fighting is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction So far, five combat encounters have been documented in the regions of Bila Hora, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar. One battle continues at present.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops initiated nine assaults on Ukrainian defense lines. Their primary offensive targets have been around Druzhba, Dachne, Dyliivka, and near Toretsk. A battle is presently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction Russian forces tried to breach Ukrainian defenses 81 times around the areas of Stara Mykolaivka, Kalynove, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Promin, Dachenske, Nadiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Troistske, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, as well as towards Zoria, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Hnativka, Oleksandropol, Pokrovsk, Novoserhiivka, and Nova Poltavka. There are currently twelve battles continuing. Bombing incidents occurred in Rusyn Yar, Malynivka, Zoria, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Nova Poltavka, Zelenyi Kut, Yalta, Groduvka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, and Pokrovsk.
The opposing force is experiencing significant casualties—with today’s tally showing that Ukrainian units in this sector have eliminated 345 Russian soldiers, including 194 who did not survive. Furthermore, they’ve taken out eight armored fighting vehicles, three automobiles, 23 motorcycles, one tank, two unmanned aerial vehicle command centers, and a mortar. Additionally, two armored personnel carriers, seven motorcycles, four vehicles, an additional mortar unit, and one enemy artillery system sustained damage.
In the Novopavlivka direction Russian troops conducted 16 offensives near Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, as well as towards Odradne, Shevchenko, and Bahatyr. The Ukrainian defenders have successfully thwarted 12 of these attacks, but four battles continue. Additionally, Novopil faced an air raid.
I n the Huliaipole direction, The adversary conducted aerial bombardments on the town of Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, The adversary initiated five assaults on Ukrainian defense lines close to Stepove, Lobkove, and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, The Russian troops launched an offensive attempt but did not manage to attain any significant progress.
In the Kursk direction The Ukrainian Defense Forces thwarted 21 assaults from Russian forces throughout the day, with two encounters continuing at the time. Furthermore, the opposing side conducted 12 air strikes employing 15 precision-guided munitions and bombarded Ukrainian positions and civilian zones 185 times, including five instances involving multiple rocket launches.
Russia's casualties in the conflict
According to the General Staff, since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Kremlin has lost nearly 952,000 troops.
Over the past day alone, Russian forces suffered the loss of 1,100 soldiers. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed one tank, one armored combat vehicle, 11 artillery systems, 123 drones, and additional enemy equipment.
