Rose of BLACKPINK Nominated for Two American Music Awards
Rose-AMA
SEOUL, April 24 (Yonhap) -- According to the AMA's official website released on Thursday, BLACKPINK’s member Rosé has received two nominations following the worldwide success of “The Album.”
She has been shortlisted for Collaboration of the Year thanks to her track featuring pop icon Bruno Mars, as well as for Favorite K-pop Artist, where she faces off against Ateez, BTS members Jimin and RM, and Stray Kids.
Rose has extended her lengthy stint on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with "APT.," remaining on the chart for a continuous 26 weeks now.
Launched in October, the song started at number eight, then dropped slightly before climbing back up to reach its highest position of three earlier this year.
The AMA awards will take place on May 26 in Las Vegas.
