Rams Choose Terrance Ferguson with 46th Pick

The Los Angeles Rams have chosen Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson With the 46th selection in the second round of Friday’s draft, this appears to be a solid improvement for the Rams, as they required an additional tight end beside their current roster. Tyler Higbee Ferguson concluded his time at Oregon topping all tight ends in school history with 134 catches and 16 touchdowns throughout his collegiate tenure. In the previous season, he recorded personal bests of 43 receptions and 591 receiving yards across 12 games. His speed and dexterity make him potentially valuable for screen plays too. Given that Rams’ head coach Sean McVay doesn’t hesitate to employ creative tactics with his offensive lineup, it would not come as a surprise to witness Ferguson contributing significantly from the get-go in Los Angeles.
