Odessa College Launches 3-Year Pilot for Free Legal Aid to Students

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) — Odessa College has launched a three-year trial initiative aimed at offering free legal aid to its students.

As stated by the school, this implies that students will gain the ability to handle legal issues such as traffic tickets or even debts without needing to miss work or classes.

Odessa College believed this was crucial since 80 percent of college students encountering legal issues often avoid furthering their education.

Odessa College students will not be charged for the upcoming three years.

After that period, though, there will be an annual fee of $15 for students.
