Nicole Scherzinger sings 'With One Look' through bullhorn after “Sunset Blvd. ”matinee scrapped for technical issues
In line for a 2025 Tony nomination, the former Pussycat Doll further endeared herself to Broadway fans.

Nicole Scherzinger surprised theatergoers like a legend on Wednesday.
Ticketholders eager to see the Masked Singer judge in the fêted new stage adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber 's Sunset Boulevard at New York City's St. James Theatre were disappointed to discover that the matinee of Sunset Blvd. was canceled due to technical difficulties.
But like a true lady of the stage, Scherzinger understood that the show must go on, appeared on stage with a bullhorn, and serenaded the departing audience with a haunting rendition of the musical's signature ballad, "With One Look."
"In spite of the technical hitches during today’s afternoon performance, Nicole Scherzinger managed to keep the entertainment alive for all you wonderful folks sitting out there in the darkness," as stated officially. Sunset Blvd. account wrote on X The show tonight will go on as planned.

Scherzinger gained prominence as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, a dance troupe established by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 before transforming into a pop band in 2003.
Supported by Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt, Nicole Scherzingher and The Pussycat Dolls dominated the early 2000s pop music scene with chart-topping singles such as "Don't Cha" and "Buttons." Despite multiple breakups and reunions over the following years, Scheringer, now 46, gradually started accumulating theater experience, beginning with her role as Maureen in a 2010 staging of Rent. Rent , and then as Grizabella in the 2014 West End revival of Cats .

Jamie Lloyd , a Tony-nominated, British theater director known for his striking, minimalist stagings and collaborations with screen stars not necessarily known for their work on stage ( Emilia Clarke starred in his 2020-2021 production of The Seagull ; Jessica Chastain featured in the 2023 reboot of A Doll's House ), reached out to Sherine Scherzinger for the leading role in his revival of Sunset Boulevard in 2024.
The resurgence of Webber's 1993 musical, which was adapted from the beloved 1950 filmclassic. Billy Wilder , has received highly positive reviews, with EW raving Scherzinger's enthralling performance demonstrates that she remains capable of filling the venue with excitement.
Scherzinger even garnered the elusive praise of Broadway legend Patti LuPone , who stated after seeing the show in December, "I thought Nicole was incredible. She broke my heart... She is a powerhouse."
