NFL Draft 2025: Tracking the Jets' Undrafted Free Agents

The Jets have completed their initial phase NFL Draft under new coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey However, the team list is still not complete.

The team carried on with their efforts on Saturday once the Jets concluded their draft sooner than most franchises. After moving up to secure the last selection of the fifth round, they ceased making additional picks. This allowed them an early advantage in scouting and signing undrafted free agents to complete their squad.

This marks our sixth and seventh rounds," Mougey stated on Saturday afternoon. "Our team will be diligently working on bringing in players who we believe can still make a difference.

So how’d they do? There were many positive aspects, along with certain dubious choices. However, in the end, everything will be revealed once the players step onto the field beginning this autumn.

After selecting four defenders and three offensive players in their initial attempt to outline the Jets' future during the draft, the team still has several crucial requirements to address.

The most glaring question mark? They don’t have proven a clear starter to partner alongside Quinnen Williams at defensive tackle.

As the Jets have chosen not to provide updates on the injury situation of sophomore quarterback Jordan Travis, their roster depth past starting QB Justin Fields and reserve Tyrod Taylor appears quite shaky at best.

They took a gamble on a wide receiver who now joins Garrett Wilson with many uncertainties surrounding him at the position.

It's difficult to tell if they can address these issues through undrafted free agency, but they will definitely make an effort.

Stay tuned here for the most recent updates as the Jets sign more free agents following the draft.
