New Grocery Store Set to Open Soon in South Alabama's Latest Revitalization Project

A fresh Aldi store is scheduled to launch shortly in Mobile County as the retailer broadens its reach.

Based on Aldi's website, their newest location will be in Semmes at 9082 Moffett Road.

Although the website indicates that the store will open shortly, a specific date has not been announced yet.

Currently, there are 47 ALDI stores in Alabama, with the addition of the Semmes location bringing the total to five stores within Mobile County.

The Aldi in Semmes was previously a Winn-Dixie location but has been relabeled after the German company acquired more than 400 Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets throughout the southeastern U.S. last year.
