NBA Fans stunned by Celtics' Big Injury Update Just Before Game 3

The current first-round playoff series between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic continues to make waves due to its intense physical play and contentious off-court comments. As the second-seeded team in the Eastern Conference, Boston started strong with an impressive 103-86 victory during their Game 1 clash on Easter Sunday. They further sealed their dominance in Game 2 by coming back from a close 49-48 half-time score, ultimately pulling ahead by scoring 30 points against Orlando’s 18 in the third period, leading them to triumph with a final score of 109-100.

As both teams shifted their attention towards Game 3 in Orlando on Friday, the Celtics faced new injury worries. According to Monday’s official update, Jayson Tatum—who had never missed a playoff game before in his career due to not suiting up in Game 2—was initially listed as questionable. This status comes as he continues to heal from a right distal-radius bone bruise sustained during Game 1.

Jaylen Brown, who leads the Celtics in scoring for this series, has been labeled as questionable due to a right-knee posterior impingement issue. Meanwhile, veteran guard Jrue Holiday is dealing with a right-hamstring strain.

Although things appeared bleak for Boston, they improved somewhat with the inclusion of Tatum and Brown, even though Holiday was sidelined.

Audiences expressed their thoughts on X.

"we back," said one.

"Let’s head out, Champions," another chimed in.

"LET'S GO TATUM!" cheered another.

"WE BACK," exclaimed another.

Kristaps Porzingis, who sustained a head injury during Game 2, did not appear on the injury list. He'll team up with his two key colleagues, Tatum and Brown, both of whom have been cleared to play following uncertainty surrounding their availability for this crucial Game 3.
