Minnesota Issues Warning: Choking Hazard Detected in Gerber Teething Sticks
Officials from Minnesota are cautioning parents not to use certain Gerber baby teething toys as they pose a potential choking risk.
On Friday, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture released a warning about Gerber Soothe 'N' Chew Teething Sticks. This followed the Food and Drug Administration’s recall of these items due to potential choking risks for infants and young kids.
Previously, the FDA had recalled the product in January; however, they released a subsequent warning when accounts indicated it was still being sold at certain retailers and online platforms.

The teething sticks are available in strawberry apple and banana flavors. However, the recall encompasses every batch of this item.
The MDA advised customers to dispose of or send back the items and cautioned against giving them to children.
