Meghan mentioned that the pair found it challenging to genuinely savor each other's companionship at the beginning of their relationship because they were swiftly thrust "into the thick of things" due to intense media attention.
In 2016, they began a relationship which led to marriage two years later in 2018. They first undertook official responsibilities as royals but chose to withdraw from these positions in early 2020, causing tension between Harry and his father, who was then known as the Prince of Wales, along with Charles becoming king.
She stated: "At first, everybody feels like they have butterflies."
“So we jumped straight into the trenches together. Indeed, just six months after starting our relationship.”
So after seven years, when you finally get some free time, you can appreciate each other anew, which is why I think we're experiencing more of a honeymoon phase at this point.
The duchess commended her spouse for maintaining the family’s "security."
In January, Harry resolved his prolonged legal dispute with News Group Newspapers (NGN), securing significant compensation along with a "complete and unambiguous apology" for the "severe invasion" of his privacy and "illegal actions" perpetrated by The Sun.
The duke is likewise engaged in a legal dispute with the Home Office regarding the amount of publicly funded personal protection he ought to have during visits to the UK.
"He's always out there, consistently doing everything he can to ensure our family remains safe, secure, and lifted up, all while making time for date nights," Meghan explained.
"He’s also a fox. If you haven’t noticed, my husband is incredibly attractive. However, his heart is even more remarkable," she said additionally.
When discussing her children, Archie and Lilibet, Meghan grew quite emotional and shared that she sends emails to special addresses she’s set up for them so they can read these messages as they grow older.
“Every night before bedtime, nearly always, I send them an email with updates such as today’s report card or something amusing that happened in the morning.”
“Or perhaps this photo shows both of you enjoying breakfast together, or maybe it depicts you at play.”

The stuff you won’t hang up, the things you won’t write down in your diary, but that somehow they’ll stumble upon at some point in their life, perhaps when they turn 16 or reach 18.
I've got an email here that I've saved for you. It contains all the things and moments where I wished to express my deep love for you and, well, how incredibly proud I am of you.
This follows Meghan launching her Netflix series, new podcast, and lifestyle brand called As Ever.
