CLEVELAND (WJW) — Individuals who place orders from McDonald’s are already quite familiar with the typical chicken choices such as nuggets and sandwiches — however, beginning next month, you'll have an additional option available.

McDonald’s hints at bringing back Snack Wraps.

McCrispy Strips are set to launch nationwide on May 5, according to the company's announcement.

The new food item, which the company said is made with all white meat and lots of black pepper, is reportedly the first permanent addition to the menu in four years.

The strips come in three-piece and four-piece options as well as a meal deal that includes fries and a drink.

"The McCrispy Strips represent McDonald's most recent development from their test kitchens, designed to elevate the experience of chicken flavors," stated a representative, emphasizing that these strips are entirely distinct from any previous iterations of chicken strips they have introduced.

The chicken strips now include an additional dipping choice: creamy chili sauce.
