Mark Levin of Fox News Set to Join Trump Administration

PHILADELPHIA – Mark Levin plans to spend some of his time in Washington.
The long-running syndicated talk show host and Fox News commentator is now part of President Donald Trump’s administration as a member of his newly formed Homeland Security Advisory Council, headed by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The council of the Department of Homeland Security Security Warning was established in 2002 Following the September 11 attacks, they aimed to offer independent counsel and specialized knowledge regarding national security measures nationwide. Under Trump’s leadership, this council plans to concentrate its initiatives on the southern border shared with Mexico and strive for the removal of individuals who have unlawfully entered the nation.
Former President Joe Biden dismissed almost all members of the advisory committee. once he assumed power in 2021, replacing them with a non-partisan roster of national security specialists During Biden’s tenure, individuals who sat on the council included Leon Panetta, who previously served as Defense Secretary under President Barack Obama, and Mark Chertoff, formerly the Secretary of Homeland Security for President George W. Bush.
Levin, Born in Philadelphia and brought up in Elkins Park, he is merely the most recent Fox News figure to become part of Trump’s administration, taking up an advisory position. According to an Inquirer investigation, more than twenty ex-Fox News individuals now serve under Trump, among them three Cabinet secretaries: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth (previously a co-host on “Fox & Friends”), Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy (formerly a host on Fox Business), and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard (a past contributor to Fox News).
Once a “Never Trumper,” Levin has consistently shown support for Trump since the 2016 presidential elections. Prior to hosting a radio show, he held various positions under President Ronald Reagan’s tenure, such as being the chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese.
Levin will be joined on the council by another ex-Fox News figure—Bo Dietl, an erstwhile Fox News contributor and former NYPD detective famous primarily for his roles in multiple Martin Scorsese movies. In 2016, the network ended its relationship with Dietl. New York magazine reported He assisted ex-Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes in battling his political adversaries, even so. Dietl has refuted those allegations.
“With decades of experience in law enforcement and security, I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work for the American people,” Dietl wrote on X .
Trump also announced South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster and Florida state Sen. Joseph Gruters will be joining Levin and Dietl on the council.
