Man Arrested For Series Of Home Burglaries In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was arrested in connection with a series of home burglaries in rural San Diego County, authorities said.
On April 17, deputies apprehended Miguel Sua, aged 31, for allegedly carrying burglary tools and stolen items. Further investigations conducted by law enforcement revealed that Sua had been involved in several break-ins within a Jacumba community area, as stated by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies served a search warrant shortly after 8 a.m. Monday at Sua's home in Jacumba, where they found several firearms, ammunition, more than a quarter pound of fentanyl and multiple items stolen during other residential burglaries, according to the sheriff's office. Several of the recovered stolen items were returned to the victims, while other victims were still being identified.
Sua was charged with multiple counts of residential burglary, officials said. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office was working with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office to add charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a felon in possession of ammunition, possessing fentanyl for sale and additional counts of residential burglary.
