Man Arrested After Road Rage Leads to Driver Being Shot in Hand in Maricopa
Road rage turned violent as a driver opened fire and shot another motorist on State Route 347 near Casa Blanca Road, reports the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Randolph John Rose Jr., aged 41 from Maricopa, has been taken into custody and incarcerated at the Pinal County Jail. He faces charges such as aggravated assault using a deadly weapon, endangerment, and committing a drive-by shooting.
The Department of Public Safety was alerted to a road rage and shooting event with two cars involved at 3:57 AM on April 23rd. This occurred when the drivers engaged in an altercation while traveling southward on the expressway.

The driver of the other vehicle pulled up alongside Rose's vehicle and gave him an "obscene hand gesture." Rose then shot him in the hand with a handgun, DPS confirmed.
The DPS Major Crimes Unit officers subsequently arrested Rose without any issues occurring.
The shooting caused significant traffic delays During the early hour rush, however, the traffic had eased up by midday, as reported by the Arizona Department of Transportation .
