On Friday, the jury plans to tour the Canton residence where O'Keefe was discovered. Additionally, prosecutors anticipate calling at least one more witness during the upcoming half-day session of the trial.

The individual named Read, aged 45, faces charges of second-degree murder for the death of O'Keefe. The victim was discovered near the residence of another Boston police officer on January 29, 2022.

The Norfolk County prosecutors claim that Read hit O'Keefe with her SUV while under the influence of alcohol. However, Read's lawyers argue differently. Her vehicle never hit O'Keefe. And he blames others for his demise.
