Is Law & Order: Organized Crime Saying Goodbye to a Founding Star After Five Seasons?
There's an additional vacant desk at the Organized Crime Control Bureau.
Detective Jet Slootmaekers, who has been part of the OCCB throughout all five seasons Law & Order: Criminal Conspiracy , is no longer part of the team. In Season 5,Episode 3, now available for streaming, takes leave from the group to follow "her personal path,"as described by Sgt. Bell.

Following her traumatic undercover operation in Episode 2, where she and Stabler apprehended a truck driver abusing and murdering sex workers—and Jet herself suffered physical assault during the chase—she subsequently went on leave. As of this week's episode, she remained absent from the precinct. When an inquisitive Stabler asked Reyes for information, Reyes revealed that although they were previously involved romantically, Jet and he had split up, and he expressed concern over her well-being.
Afterward, Bell visited Jet’s place where she was preoccupied with thoughts of the missing women believed to be murdered victims along the interstate. It came to light that the FBI had extended an offer for a permanent position to the hacker, but she declined. However, Bell gently informed Jet that it would be perfectly fine if she chose to explore different avenues in her professional life. "Just follow your path," she told her.
By the time the episode concluded, Stabler remained alone in the office as Jet arrived to collect her belongings. After embracing him and expressing how much she would miss him, he took her to a local pub where they joined their colleagues for some goodbyes over drinks. According to Bell, Jet has taken an indeterminate leave of absence. a full recap here .)
Jet has been with the OCCB from the beginning of the series, which started when Detective Elliot Stabler, portrayed by Chris Meloni, recruited her for the squad. Similarly, actress Ainsley Seiger has been a consistent presence on the show since its inception.
