Fugitive from Florida Captured in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — Authorities apprehended a fugitive from Florida who faces felony charges across multiple states when he was located in Huntington on Monday.

Sean Vance, aged 48, from Tampa, Florida, was sought across multiple states and was regarded as a fleeing suspect under the jurisdiction of Florida law.

The West Virginia State Police issued a statement saying they received information from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department indicating that Vance might be concealed in Huntington. Upon investigating this tip, state troopers spotted Vance on 9th Avenue in the 1800 block, which initiated a chase followed by an extensive search resulting in his apprehension.
