Fresno Unified planning to reveal the finalist in their hunt for a new superintendent.
The trustees will announce this during their board meeting shortly after 6 pm on Wednesday.
District officials will likewise outline the upcoming phases of the transition process.
Bob Nelson, who previously served as the superintendent, declared last spring that he would step down from his role.
Following Nelson’s exit, Misty Her has taken on the role of interim superintendent.
In February, the board enlisted a firm to assist with the search, which cost the district slightly more than $34,000.
