• Safety: The Eagles traded C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans So, Philadelphia requires a new starter alongside Reed Blankenship. The team’s third-round selection in 2023, Sydney Brown, appears to be the frontrunner for this position; however, following his ACL injury during his first season, he primarily contributed on special teams last year. Adding another youthful contender to vie for this role seems like a logical move here.
• EDGE rusher: The Eagles must find replacements for their two key pass rushers, Josh Sweat and Hasson Reddick, as retaining them was unaffordable in 2025.
