Round 1, Pick 20: Cornerback, Jahdae Barron
Some initial speculation suggested that the Broncos were actively trying to trade their way into the top ten picks, but this talk died down as soon as Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty was selected by their rivals. Las Vegas Raiders .
Following that, they aimed to trade out of the 20th position but didn’t come across any appealing offers. So, they decided to remain at their current pick. chose Texas safety Jahdae Barron as their first-round pick .
During his final season at Texas, Barron recorded five interceptions and 11 pass breakups. In addition, he managed to score touchdowns via both a fumble return and an interception return during his junior year.

Round 2: Trade!
The Denver Broncos exchanged their 51st overall selection to the Carolina Panthers , dropping to the 57th position. Additionally, they advance on the draft board during both the third and fourth rounds. This appears to be a reasonable trade, suggesting they have confidence in securing their target player at pick number 57. In this deal, a total of eight selections were exchanged.
Round 2: Trade x2!
They weren't finished making trades in the second round. When the 57th pick was approaching, they traded again — this time with the Detroit Lions They would gain an additional fourth-round pick from this deal, providing them with a late-second rounder, an early-third rounder, and two fourth-round picks along with their two leftover sixth-round selections.
Round 2, Selection 60: Running Back, RJ Harvey
Following two trade maneuvers, the Broncos ultimately selected a player in the second round by drafting RJ Harvey from UCF as their running back. Over his final two collegiate seasons, he amassed almost 3,000 rushing yards along with 42 total touchdowns. This addition gives Denver an ideal partner for Audric Estime at the running back position.
They had options for the running back position but seem content with Estime taking on the role of the power runner and RJ Harvey providing the speed as the home-run threat. In his college career, he demonstrated notable productivity:
- 2024: 1,577 rushing yards with 22 touchdowns and an average of 6.8 yards per carry
- 2023: 1,416 rushing yards with 16 touchdowns and an average of 6.3 yards per carry
He contributed additional touchdowns through the air. This seems to be quite an advantageous acquisition for Denver and could introduce a potent aspect to their offensive strategy. Last season, he concluded with the second-highest number of 10+ and 15+ yard rushes across all of collegiate football.

Round 3, Pick 74: WR, Pat Bryant
In what most would consider a bit of a reach as many draft pundits had Pat Bryant with a fifth or sixth round grade. He figures to be a strong blocking wide receiver and fights through muck on his routes.
It doesn’t feel like an impact-type game breaker of a player, but a guy that Sean Payton will be looking for to help make his offensive system run more efficiently. While not as exciting as the RJ Harvey pick, it doesn’t take much to understand why they reached for Bryant today on day two .

Round 3: Trade x3!
The Broncos have advanced to the third round once again! By trading both of their fourth-round selections along with their sixth-rounder, they acquired the 101st pick in the third round and the 134th pick in the fourth round.
Round 3, Selection 101: Defensive End, Sai'vion Jones
Using a assertive strategy, the The Broncos shifted back to the end of the third round. to select LSU Defensive End Sai'vion Jones was selected. Many scouts gave him a strong third-round evaluation, making this a smart choice by the Broncos. He could be a suitable successor to John Franklin-Myers or simply add depth to an already formidable defensive line.
The player stands tall at an impressive height of 6'5" and weighs 280 pounds. In the previous season finale, he recorded 4.5 sacks, 7.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, along with forcing two fumbles. Known for being tenacious and powerful on the field, he excels particularly in interior pass rush situations. It’s clear why the Broncos decided to trade up during the third round draft pick to secure him before others could consider selecting such a formidable asset approaching the weekend.

Round 4, Pick 134: Edge Rusher, Quandarrius 'Que' Robinson
In the fourth round, the Broncos chose Alabama’s edge rusher Quandarrius Robinson with their pick. Such a choice has the potential to turn into a significant asset for Denver. Many believe he could be an under-the-radar standout on the team.
It is probable that Robinson will play a significant role in the Broncos' special teams as a newcomer. Nick Saban commented about him saying, "He has consistently been a key contributor on special teams for us and might just be one of our best special teams players ever."
Defensively, his primary responsibility was rushing the passer, which resulted in him accumulating four sacks along with one forced fumble during the previous season. Generally speaking, he appears to be a promising prospect possessing all the qualities desired in an NFL starting player. It’s on day three of the draft that teams typically begin selecting players with greater potential for growth.
In just 163 career pass rushing snaps, Robinson generated 25 pressures and 5 sacks. That is insane production. Hopefully we see that translate into the NFL.

Round 6, Trade x4!
The Trade deals were not executed. in this draft as the Broncos traded their 197th overall pick in the sixth round to the Houston Texans Denver secures additional selections with pick numbers 216 in the sixth round and 241 in the seventh round.
Round 6, Pick 216: P, Jeremy Crawshaw
With the final pick of the sixth round, the Broncos finally made their second draft selection of day three. They would take Florida punter Jeremy Crawshaw with that 216th overall selection .
Crawshaw was a four-year starter at Florida and has a knack for getting punts downed inside the 10-yard line. While I’m not usually a fan of drafting kickers anywhere but the seventh round, this was close enough for me. Plus Denver has their competition at the position now once training camp arrives.
Round 7, Selection 241: Tight End, Caleb Lohner
With their last selection in the 2025 NFL Draft In this draft, the Broncos chose Caleb Lohner, who played both basketball and football at Utah. Their previous experience of drafting a basketball player as a tight end with Julius Thomas proved successful. Selecting such an interesting prospect so late in the draft is a prudent move. Standing tall at 6'7" and weighing 250 pounds, he will undoubtedly serve as a significant target in the red-zone area.
