Chicago's Park District Kicks Off Second Annual "May in Motion" to Promote Physical Activity

The Chicago Park District is motivating individuals across all neighborhoods to become more active next month.

They're kicking off "May in Motion" for a second consecutive year.

Residents of Chicago have the opportunity to sign up for complimentary use at over 70 gyms located throughout the city during this month.

"'May in Motion' is the Park District’s initiative aimed at encouraging all Chicago residents to become more active and enhancing accessibility to facilities and areas that support physical exercise and well-being," stated Chicago Park District Superintendent and CEO Carlos Ramirez-Rosa.

Multiple parks will be offering complimentary drop-in sessions each Wednesday, along with structured runs on Saturdays.

Additionally, there are after-school activities suitable for children.

Check out the complete timetable available on the Chicago Park District's official site .
