Casio Teams Up with Mumbai's Mooze for Exclusive G-Shock GA-2100 Limited Edition

Casio Casio has introduced a new G-Shock GA-2100 collaboration created alongside Mumbai-based graffiti artist Mooze, who is also referred to as Mooz Graffiti. The design, showcased via Casio’s social media channels, draws inspiration from traditional Indian truck art.

The GA-2100 comes equipped with a black resin casing coupled with a black dial adorned with delicate accents of red, blue, and yellow. The striking strap showcases a dynamic black and red design. On one end of the strap, you'll find "Shock Ok Please" set against a tiger stripe background, which playfully references the well-known "Horn OK Please" often spotted on vehicles in India. The opposite end bears Mooze’s distinctive emblem along with an intimidating tiger graphic.

The design components harken back to G-Shock’s initial color scheme: red representing zeal and obstacles, blue indicating waterproof capabilities, and yellow signifying durability against shocks. The tiger illustration embodies strength and unyielding vigor, aligning with G-Shock’s tough brand identity.

The latest GA-2100 iteration retains essential G-Shock attributes. This model can withstand shocks and remains functional under water pressure equivalent to 20 bars. A compact digital screen indicates the current time in a different timezone, whereas a wheel positioned at the left edge displays the day’s date. Additional functionalities encompass a chronograph capable of measuring intervals down to 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer, several daily alarm notifications, along with an illuminating LED light feature.

Casio hasn’t revealed the model number, pricing, or release date for this new timepiece. The watch will make its debut at the G-Shock store located in Connaught Place, Delhi. It appears to be an India-exclusive product, as no plans for an international rollout have been disclosed.

In other developments, Casio is releasing special edition G-Shock GA-B2100 timepieces to mark this occasion. 10-year anniversary of the anime Haikyu!! The designs of these two models draw inspiration from opposing squads, Karasuno and Nekoma, incorporating their team hues, player numbers, and distinctive catchphrases. Each watch includes Bluetooth connectivity, Tough Solar technology, and global timing functionalities.
