'Careers in Care' Hiring Event Set for Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - The ‘Careers in Care’ hiring event will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at the Washington County Fairground Civitan Building (behind the roller rink).

OhioMeansJobs will be hosting this free event for the first time.

The event will take place this Wednesday from 2-6 p.m.

The goal of the event is to help anyone looking to start or grow their career in patient care.

A range of local businesses and educational institutions will be present to talk about available jobs and training options in the healthcare sector.

Several of the participating employers include Marietta Memorial Health, WVU Medicine Camden Clark, and others.

It is important for people to come prepared to meet employers and potential interviews. There will also be a resume building center at the event to help you fix your resume or even just to make one.

The importance of this event is for the community to see what jobs are open and available in the health care field.
