Bio Bash Bonanza: Aiken County Career and Technology Center Takes Center Stage

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDG/WAGU) — The Bio Bash transformed the Aiken County Career and Technology Center on Wednesday.
Our photographer, Cameron Jacobs, also got involved in a practical STEM activity.
Utilizing the electrical impulses from his brain, he was somewhat controlled by the student.
The supervisor and the underling were merely part of the numerous participatory exhibits present today.
As part of the biomedical science outreach team's initiatives to mark Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, this activity joins a STEM escape room event.
This event honors laboratory professionals and pathologists who have crucial roles in healthcare delivery and advocating for patients.
The high school junior shared their experience with participating in the Aiken County Career and Technology Center program.
"It provides a significant advantage to graduate with dual certifications, and who wouldn’t desire that? I certainly would love to. My aim is to graduate and secure a job right away. I could pursue opportunities in the medical field. Therefore, I am eager to undertake this, as I find it truly enjoyable, plus the instructor does an excellent job," stated Stefany Gonzalez.
Students interested in exploring any of the available programs may apply online between September and December.
