Bank Independent and UNA Team Up for Scholarship Initiative

SHEFFIELD, Ala. ( WAFF Bank Independent along with the University of North Alabama have introduced a collaborative scholarship initiative designed to enhance accessibility and affordability of higher education for Bank Independent’s customers.

Customers who qualify can sign up at UNA to obtain a 20% scholarship for undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree programs. This offer is currently active.

This scholarship opportunity is exclusively for incoming UNA students. To be eligible, these students must keep an active Bank Independent checking account for a minimum of 30 days before the semester begins, enroll in online banking services, and possess an active debit card. Additionally, their checking account should always show a non-zero balance.

This opportunity isn't restricted to just current Bank Independent customers—anyone who has interest in pursuing a UNA degree may open an account and adhere to the mentioned criteria prior to the start of the semester.

The scholarship cannot be combined with other UNA institutional awards, and candidates must fulfill the admissions requirements for the respective programs they are applying to.
